Quiksilver Viral Video Wins Accolades at Digital Day at the DGA

SOLANA BEACH, CA, September 17, 2009 /Web PR News/ -- Quiksilver's popular viral video "The Spot," produced by Cuker Interactive, was recently featured at the 2009 Directors Guild Digital Day in Hollywood, CA. The annual event showcases the latest in digital tools and technologies and brings together many of the top directors in the industry.
This year's event was the seventh annual Digital Day at the DGA, and Guild members and invited guests were treated to exhibits, presentations, and hands-on demonstrations of the newest developments in emerging digital technologies.
"The Spot" was honored as the featured viral video and was presented as an example of utilizing innovative technology to generate publicity and drive successful viral marketing campaigns.
The video has won widespread acclaim for both innovation and technological sophistication. "The Spot" was shot with a Panasonic HVX500 and filmed in 1080i HD footage for post-production work in After Effects, Flash, and Photoshop.
